We are very accessible for Chester Races, Carden Park Golf and Oulton Park. On the farm we rear up to 150 holstein heifers for our neighbours ,after giving up milk production 10 years ago. Our latest arrivals are two kittens which just appeared! But our most importent pet is Belle our very friendly Labrador/Spaniel cross who loves to meet our guests. These include 3 of our own horses, Ronnie, Bella and Duke, who is now retired ,as well as 7 other horses and ponies at livery.We also have 2 pet Ryeland sheep and 8 hens including 6 Silver Sussex. Newton Hall is very quiet and peaceful although we do have some animals. We have a Visit England 4 star silver rating and a Breakfast award. If you prefer a flatter walk enjoy a walk along the towpath of the Shropshire Union Canal which is less than 1 mile from the farm.Pets are wecome for a small extra charge. There are also plenty of footpaths in the nearby Peckforton Hills for you to explore The Sandstone Trail. Stables and grazing available for you to bring your own horse and enjoy a riding holiday along the Bishop Bennet Way. Both Beeston and Peckforton Castles are easily visible from the farm, as are the Welsh mountains and the Bickerton Hills. Chester is about ten minutes drive from the farm, and Tattenhall village centre is within a mile, where a wide selection of pubs, bistros and restaurants are available. Newton Hall is a part timbered 16th Century country house on a family run, 140 acres stock farm, situated amongst some of the most picturesque scenery in Cheshire. The hotel is conveniently situated for Liverpool John Lennon airport, Liverpool City Centre and access to major road and rail networks.PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BAR AND FUNCTION AREAS CAN BE LIVELY AT WEEKENDS WHEN THERE ARE FUNCTIONS.
